Autumn Mist

Misty days seem to have been few and far between in recent times so it was with great excitement that I set off to my local woodland in the hope of it staying around. Unfortunately as soon as I arrived it was already lifting. I did intend going to various locations within the Estate but unfortunately I was restricted to the Coppice Pond area and surrounding woods.

Mists and Mellow Fruitfulness

A set of shots taken on a misty walk around St Ives Country Park in Bingley. There was just about enough colour on the trees to still give the impression and feel of autumn. Lots of webs and fungi about as well.

It was very quiet though, I only saw one horse rider and a handful of walkers, not that I'm complaining. Had a coffee in The Ivy Kitchen to warm me up on my return.

I could really have done with arriving an hour earlier but I'm not the best at early rising. As it was, I did get a bit of mist, especially in Cuckoo Nest Wood but by the time I had made my way down to Low Park, it had just about cleared. It was also clinging on in the Coppice Pond area.

No coffee in The Ivy Kitchen for me today but I did get one in the local garden centre on the way back.It came a poor second best though.
